Learn Art and Design with a visual teacher

The subject
What is Art and Design?
Art and Design is the study of making and understanding visual work: drawing, painting, composition, colour, typography, graphic and product design, and the history and theory that inform them. Studying it means learning the elements and principles of design, perspective and proportion, colour theory, media and techniques, the analysis of artists' work and the design process from brief to outcome. It balances practical skill with critical thinking and is assessed through portfolios and written study.
Where it is studied: Secondary and senior secondary art and design courses, foundation years and undergraduate degrees in fine art and design.
Why pictures
Why Art and Design is taught visually
This subject is visual from the start, and the ideas behind it are drawn too: one-point and two-point perspective grids, a colour wheel with complementary pairs, a composition broken into thirds, a typographic grid, a value scale. Drawing the vanishing points makes perspective a rule rather than a guess.
The tutor draws the picture as it speaks, one idea at a time, and answers your doubt on the same picture when you interrupt.

Questions
Asked, Answered
Can an AI teacher help with a hands-on subject like art?
It teaches the principles behind the practice: perspective, proportion, colour and composition, drawn step by step on the board as it explains. Upload a photo of your own work and ask what to change, and it marks suggestions on the image.
Does it cover art history and written analysis?
Yes. Ask about a movement or an artwork and the tutor explains its context and techniques, sketching how a composition or colour scheme works. It then asks a checkpoint question so you practise analysing a piece yourself.
Can it help with design entrance tests?
Ask it to teach design reasoning, visual perception and drawing fundamentals, and upload past papers for explanation. The Tests section adds AI-made tests on theory and history, and verified courses offer a structured sequence through the fundamentals.
