Prepare for EBAU / PAU with a visual teacher
Bachillerato and Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad: every topic on the syllabus, explained out loud with live visuals by a 1:1 AI teacher that stops when you interrupt and checks you got it.
The exam
What is EBAU / PAU?
EBAU / PAU is the Bachillerato and Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad, a university entrance exam (Spain). Organised separately by each autonomous community within a common national framework. A compulsory phase covers Spanish language and literature, a history paper, a foreign language, a co-official regional language where applicable and one subject tied to the student's track. An optional admissions phase lets students sit extra subjects to raise their mark for competitive degrees. Recent reforms made questions more competency-based and reduced optional answer choices within papers.
Who takes it: Students who have completed Bachillerato in Spain and want a place at a public university, where admission combines school grades with this test.
What it tests
EBAU / PAU subjects and sections
- Spanish Language and Literature
- History of Spain or History of Philosophy
- Foreign language
- Mathematics
- Science subjects
- Humanities and Social Science subjects
Ask any topic from any of these and the tutor pitches the lesson to the exam, with the terms and the depth it expects.
How to prepare
Studying for EBAU / PAU, step by step
01
Prioritise
The final admission mark weights Bachillerato grades heavily, so protect school marks across both years rather than relying on the test alone.
02
Practise
Choose optional phase subjects that are weighted highly for your target degree in your community, since weightings differ by degree and region.
03
Avoid the traps
Practise with your community's own past papers; formats and marking criteria differ enough between regions to matter on the day.
04
Ask, then watch
Type or say a topic in your own words; the tutor plans a storyboard, one picture per idea, and explains it step by step.
05
Interrupt and check
Say "wait, why?" mid-explanation and it answers on the picture; a checkpoint question ends every lesson.
06
Your papers
Upload past papers and notes so the practice follows the exam, and use Tests for graded tests.
