The exam
What is NEET?
NEET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), a university entrance exam (India). A single pen-and-paper test run by the National Testing Agency, with multiple-choice questions across Physics, Chemistry and Biology, where Biology carries the largest share. Wrong answers lose marks and unanswered questions do not. The question paper is offered in English, Hindi and several regional languages. Scores feed a central counselling process for government and private medical seats, and the syllabus follows the NCERT textbooks of Classes 11 and 12.
Who takes it: Students who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and want to study medicine, dentistry, AYUSH, nursing or veterinary science in India.
What it tests
NEET subjects and sections
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Botany
- Zoology
Ask any topic from any of these and the tutor pitches the lesson to the exam, with the terms and the depth it expects.
How to prepare
Studying for NEET, step by step
01
Prioritise
Biology lines in NCERT are the question bank, so read every diagram caption, table and footnote rather than relying on coaching notes alone.
02
Practise
Physics is where many aspirants lose marks, so practise numerical questions daily until formula recall under pressure becomes automatic.
03
Avoid the traps
Because negative marking applies, learn to leave questions you cannot narrow to two options, and keep a record of guesses in mock tests.
04
Ask, then watch
Type or say a topic in your own words; the tutor plans a storyboard, one picture per idea, and explains it step by step.
05
Interrupt and check
Say "wait, why?" mid-explanation and it answers on the picture; a checkpoint question ends every lesson.
06
Your papers
Upload past papers and notes so the practice follows the exam, and use Tests for graded tests.
Ask it anything
Questions NEET students ask
- Explain the Krebs cycle step by step with a diagram.
- How do I remember all the plant families in NCERT?

Can I use my own NEET past papers and notes?
Yes. Upload PDFs and images, such as photos of class notes or a past paper, up to 3 files per session and 10 MB each, and the tutor grounds the session in them. The Tests section adds tests from a question bank and AI tests, graded on the server.
