Human digestion, Taught not just answered.

A real-time, 1:1 lesson on Human digestion: an AI teacher explains it out loud while it visualizes every step. Interrupt it, ask why, and it checks you got it, in 26 languages.

The idea

What is Human digestion?

Human digestion is the breakdown of food into molecules small enough to be absorbed into the blood. It starts in the mouth, where chewing and salivary amylase begin on starch, continues in the stomach, where acid and pepsin start on protein, and is completed in the small intestine, where bile from the liver emulsifies fats and enzymes from the pancreas and intestinal wall finish carbohydrates, proteins and lipids.

Where it appears: Class 7 and 10 CBSE and ICSE, GCSE and A-level, IB Biology, NEET.

Where learners get stuck

Why Human digestion is hard

Learners think digestion happens mainly in the stomach and absorption too, when most chemical digestion and nearly all absorption happen in the small intestine, and they confuse bile with an enzyme.

The picture a good explanation starts with: An outline of the digestive tract from mouth to anus with each organ labelled, the enzyme or secretion added at each stage, and a magnified villus showing absorption into a capillary.

A lesson, step by step

How a lesson on Human digestion goes

  1. 01

    Ask

Type or say "Where is most food actually absorbed in the body?" in your own words, in any of 26 languages.

  2. 02

    Plan

The tutor plans a storyboard, one picture per idea, starting with an outline of the digestive tract from mouth to anus with each organ labelled, the enzyme or secretion added at each stage, and a magnified villus showing absorption into a capillary.

  3. 03

    Explain

It explains Human digestion out loud while the picture builds step by step, pitched to your level (Class 7 and 10 CBSE and ICSE and up).

  4. 04

    Interrupt

Say "wait, why?" or type a doubt: it stops, answers over the picture, and carries on. Ask for a different explanation any time.

  5. 05

    Check

A checkpoint question makes sure the idea landed, and Tests keep the practice going.

  6. 06

    Your notes

Upload a PDF or a photo of your class notes or a past paper and the lesson follows your textbook's terms.

Ask it anything

Questions learners ask about Human digestion

  • Where is most food actually absorbed in the body?
  • Why isn't bile counted as a digestive enzyme?
  • How do villi help the small intestine absorb food?

Any of these, or your own, typed or spoken. The tutor answers on the picture and adapts to how well you are following.

Questions

Asked, Answered

Can LetMeTeach explain Human digestion?

Yes. Ask in your own words and the tutor plans a lesson on Human digestion: it starts with an outline of the digestive tract from mouth to anus with each organ labelled, the enzyme or secretion added at each stage, and a magnified villus showing absorption into a capillary. Then it explains each step out loud as the picture builds, stops when you say "wait, why?", and ends with a checkpoint question.

Where does Human digestion come up?

Class 7 and 10 CBSE and ICSE, GCSE and A-level, IB Biology, NEET. The lesson is pitched to your level and the exam or curriculum you follow, and you can upload your own notes or past papers so it uses your textbook's terms.

Can I learn Human digestion in my own language?

Yes. LetMeTeach teaches in 26 languages and plans the lesson in the language you choose rather than translating an English one, so the terms match what your textbook says. The Free plan includes 7 hours a month with no card.
